Increased Professionalism

In the heat of competition, small businesses can ill afford to appear understaffed, amatureish or as a "start up." They require the professional footprint of a large company, but at a price point that is something less than a full blown complex network and telephony architecture. One of the ways they can close this gap is by leveraging their IP telephony system to help manage customer interactions. Customers calling in to the business should be greeted by a professional auto attendant that gives them flexibility to route to a person or department, or 'zero' out to a live person. Customers on hold or being transferred listen to an "on hold" message that describes offers from the business. Employees set their preferences and work locations, so the phone system routes calls to them at whether they are at the desk or one the road (mobile).
